Yesterday I saw a post on Facebook by my good friend John Thornhill where he declared that the dreaded man flu had taken hold of him. It got me thinking. I’ve not been ill for almost 2 years and I’m pretty sure its down to my morning routine I do each day. So in the hope that this may prevent John from ever getting the dreaded man flu again I have decided to put my morning routine into a blog post.
It takes me about 15-20mins every morning and what I do is split into 2 chores.
1) My morning “medicine”
I first heard about the power of mixing Garlic and honey a few years ago:
So each morning I now take Garlic and Honey but I added a twist to this and also chop up fresh ginger into the mix.
2) My morning “power up”
I also blend up 6-10 ingredients each morning into a drink. Everyday is different but I use a core base of 5 ingredients, these are
Fresh Banana, Pineapple, Coconut Water, Coconut Milk & Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil
I then add 2-5 other fruit or veg, these are usually based on whats in season but could be anything like:
And any other fruit or veg that takes my fancy actually
